Watch out for this one, in my opinion it’s a scam. We were promised a two-hour tour, but the tour ended up being 1 hour and 10 minutes. The guy with the diamond braces who was very eager to sell us the tour told us that it would be a stop for 20 minutes at Rodeo Drive but that never happened. They also promised us that we would see numerous places which also never occurred. Two days after the tour I went to play golf at one of Los Angeles more luxurious golf courses. When I showed the pictures of the celebrity homes to some of the people on the golf course and pointed out which celebrity lived in those homes. They laughed a bit and said that many of those claims from our tour guide were untrue though they knew that certain celebritets didn’t live in those homes which the tour guide had said. And the driver was very reluctant to drop us of at the place he picked us up. When he finally did, the salesperson with the diamonds braces was gone. We were warned about this several times but sort of ignored it because of their great reviews. After doing some research and talking to several people we heard that they were offering t-shirts and 10% discounts in a few restaurants in order to get a five star review with positive comments. My advice would be whichever tour guide you use, record everything which makes them more scared to fool you. Or pay afterwards which is getting more common now. I’ll attach an image of the tour bus we went with and another image of the license plate.

An unforgettable Los Angeles tour – 10/10 experience! We booked the One-Day Los Angeles Tour, covering the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Griffith Observatory, Santa Monica Pier, and the Farmers Market. Everything was perfect from start to finish! The booking process was super smooth, and we got our confirmation instantly. Thanks to the tech team for handling everything so efficiently. On the day of the tour, we arrived early and were warmly welcomed at the office—a great start! The tour started exactly on time, and the real star of the day was our guide and driver, Mr. Sammy Dorian. Having traveled to 6 countries and visited over 100 tourist spots, I can confidently say he’s the best guide I’ve ever had. He’s not only knowledgeable but also fun, engaging, and full of entertaining trivia. His passion for LA and Hollywood was contagious. We had plenty of time at each stop, and he even added a surprise visit to Rodeo Drive, giving us helpful shopping tips and advice. He truly cared about every guest on the tour—so professional, warm, and thoughtful. If you're visiting LA, don’t miss this tour. Highly recommended!

Hollywood City Tours exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we checked in, the staff was friendly, professional, and organized. The tour itself was the perfect mix of sightseeing, celebrity homes, history, and local insight. Our guide was amazing — super knowledgeable, funny, and engaging throughout the entire ride. We saw the Hollywood Sign, Walk of Fame, Sunset Strip, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, and even a few celebrity homes. The open-air bus made it easy to take photos and enjoy the views without feeling cramped.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience on this tour! The organization was flawless, and in just 7 hours we managed to see so much of Los Angeles — Beverly Hills, the beautiful Santa Monica beach, a charming farmers market, and of course, we ended the day at the Griffith Observatory with its breathtaking view of downtown and the valley. For the $95 I paid, it was truly a bargain. Our driver and guide was excellent — knowledgeable, friendly, and kept us entertained with lots of interesting stories and insights along the way. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Los Angeles. It’s the perfect way to see the city’s highlights in one day!

I visited LA for a couple of days and booked Hollywood City Tours last minute. They were so friendly and accommodating, and I loved that they had availability when most tours were sold out. While we waited for our bus to load, a very kind staff member brought out an umbrella to give us some shade as they cleaned the bus. Sammy, our driver, was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The whole team was warm and welcoming, which made the tour feel extra special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a last-minute, friendly, and memorable tour option in LA!
